- VP is definitively a more professional prg, SA is super easy. So it
- depends on what you want. I use SA on my A3000T with 3.1 without any
- problems. My roomie uses VP with his 3000 without problems. We both
- have 14MBs or more, `030 or better, with Graphics Cards and MultiCX and a
- clock running, as well as other WBStartup proggys.
-
- I've used SA 4.0 without any problems with crashing on a 1200, and on a
- 500. Both had 4.5 MBs por more, and the 500 used 2.1 OS while the 1200
- used the stock 3.0.
-
- There was a guy who insisted that Scenery Animator had a glitch when
- rendering Anims. I have never found this on any of my systems. But if I
- were going to render out for video, I'd probably borrow Vista Pro from
- him and render out in 24Bit format... simply because the Vista Pro
- package produces higher quality output.
-
- You should be happy with either product, though.
-
- World Construction Set is advancing this type of package dramatically,
- though. But the learning curve is yet higher for it. And it may be true
- that you need a monster machine to use it (fast `030 or better CPU with
- GOBS of RAM)... but I don't know. It's pretty expensive, so I can't
- afford it. :( I have to say that with what I've seeen of it, I doubt if
- I'd bring it back after buying it though, it's a NICE package. It will
- require LOTS of HD space, and you need MUI.
-
- Has anyone seen City Builder for the Amiga?
